Research
The Research Team will build a VR simulation of last year’s project to evaluate how effectively it assists users with navigation. We’ll deliver a functional prototype, conduct literature reviews, design and run participant studies, and analyze the results. In collaboration with our faculty advisor, we’ll prepare and submit our findings to appropriate research venues and NASA.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Complete development of the VR simulation prototype on Meta Quest

Conduct research and literature reviews to analyze related work
and position our study within the field

Revise our existing design for the user study to evaluate navigation task performance

Recruit participants and conduct the user study

Analyze study data to assess the effectiveness
of the design of the AR navigation application

Work closely with faculty advisors to write
and submit a research paper / report to appropriate venue
